Play Responsibly at pori9
Gaming is for fun — not for problems. pori9 places your wellbeing and safety first and is always here for you.
Why Responsible Gaming Matters
Online gaming and betting is an enjoyable form of entertainment for many people. But like all types of entertainment, moderation and awareness are important here too. pori9 believes that building healthy gaming habits is every player's right, and our responsibility is to support you along the way.
Gaming should never take priority over your family, work, or financial stability. On the pori9 platform, we provide various tools and features so you can manage your own gaming habits — from setting deposit limits to taking a full break.
Our support team is available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you ever feel gaming is getting out of your control, feel free to reach out to us — we can help in both Bengali and English.
Control Is in Your Hands
pori9 gives you a range of effective tools to help you keep your gaming experience safe.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit takes a little time to apply, so you have the chance to think it over.
Time-Out Feature
Need a short break? With the time-out feature, you can block access to your account for anywhere from 24 hours up to six weeks. During this period, no bets or transactions will be made on your account.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel a longer break is needed, you can close your account for several months or more through self-exclusion. During this time, you will not receive any promotional messages from pori9 either.
Loss Limits
Set a loss limit so that no more bets are placed after you have lost a certain amount. This limit acts as an important layer of financial protection for you.
Support Assistance
pori9's support team is available 24/7 on live chat. If you have any concerns about gaming, reach out to us in Bengali at any time — we don't judge, we help.
Age Verification
pori9 is for ages 21 and above only. Age verification is mandatory at registration. We take strict measures to prevent access by minors and encourage parents to stay informed.
Tips for Responsible Gaming
Follow these simple guidelines to build a healthy gaming experience:
Recognise the Signs of a Problem
If any of the following apply to you or someone you know, it is time to seek help:
- You are spending more than your budget and cannot control it.
- You want to stop gaming but cannot, or you keep coming back.
- You are becoming indifferent toward family, friends, or work.
- You keep placing larger bets to try to recover lost money.
- You are hiding your gaming or lying about it.
- You feel restless, anxious, or depressed when you are not gaming.
- You are diverting money from essential living expenses to spend on gaming.
How to Get Help
Know Yourself
Read the signs above and assess yourself honestly. Once you understand how much gaming is affecting your life, that is where the path to change begins.
Set Account Limits
Log in to pori9, go to account settings, and activate deposit limits, loss limits, or a time-out. These steps will help you stay in control on your own.
Talk to the Support Team
If the situation feels difficult, contact us on our 24/7 live chat. Our team can speak Bengali and will guide you confidentially.
Take Self-Exclusion
If you genuinely need a break, request self-exclusion. While it is active, you will not be able to access your pori9 account and will not receive any promotional messages.
Seek Professional Help
Gaming addiction is a mental health issue and professional support is very effective for it. If needed, contact a mental health specialist or counsellor.
